This registration is for Volunteers.
We plan to provide our guests with an evening filled with memories that will last a lifetime. The Hoedown will include dinner, dancing, hayrides, karaoke, a photo booth and live music.
REQUIREMENTS
The minimum age to volunteer is 14.
BACKGROUND CHECK
A background check is required every three years for all volunteers 18 years of age and older.
SEXUAL ABUSE PREVENTION (SAP) TRAINING
This training is required for volunteers who haven’t previously completed the online training.
MANDATORY TRAINING
Volunteers are required to attend one of the following
onsite training sessions:
- Sunday, October 18 • 2:30 pm in the Auditorium.
- Tuesday, October 20 • 6:30 pm in the Auditorium.
VOLUNTEER PACKET PICKUP
Packets are available for pick up from your leader during Training. Each packet includes a complimentary Hoedown T-shirt and the required entrance items to the dance.
VOLUNTEER POSITIONS AVAILABLE
- BUDDY: As a Buddy, you'll be a guest's host for the entire evening, including dinner, conversation, hayrides, dancing, karaoke, etc.
- BULL RIDING TEAM: Volunteers* will help guests as they experience riding the bull. *Must be at least 18 years old and able to lift 35 lb.
- CLEANUP TEAM: Volunteers take down decorations, tables, chairs and clean up the event space once the event is over.
- DECORATION TEAM: Volunteers will assist with setting up and decorating all areas on the day before and/or the day of the event.
- FOOD TEAM: Volunteers will assist with food preparation, setup, distribution and table cleanup for the evening. They'll ensure that each buddy receives food for their guest and assist with cleanup.
- GREETERS/USHERS: Volunteers will welcome guests as they arrive and provide direction to buddies and parents.
- GRILL TEAM: Do you love to grill? Do you have a grill? Starting at 2:30 pm, we'll set up to grill hamburgers and hot dogs.
- HAYRIDE TEAM: Volunteers* will help guests as they experience hayrides around the parking lot. *Must be at least 18 years old and able to lift 35 lb.
